Why did Worldview Summit partner with The Great Commission Foundation (GCF)?
GCF is a respected organization that has served many ministries since its founding in 2002. It requires a healthy level of accountability while providing a high degree of autonomy. GCF accountants help Worldview Summit stay compliant with the Canada Revenue Agency and can therefore issue tax receipts on our behalf. Other services they provide include processing donations, issuing paychecks, reimbursing expenses, and more. They receive a full audit every year by MNP (previously known as Meyers Norris Penny) which is one of the largest chartered accountancy and business advisory firms in Canada. These audits are available upon request.

Will my tax receipts say "Worldview Summit" or "The Great Commission Foundation"?

What kind of accountability does Worldview Summit have?
First, Worldview Summit provides quarterly and annual reports to The Great Commission Foundation. Second, an advisory board checks on the global activity and the finances of Worldview Summit. Third, monthly newsletters allow supporters to know and understand Worldview Summit's activity.
Who is on the Worldview Summit advisory board?
Jim Gordon is the senior pastor of Elora Road Christian Fellowship (ERCF) which is located just north of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Peter Kupisz started attending ERCF in 2016 and came to know Pastor Jim in this capacity. Pastor Jim’s exemplary leadership of ERCF, as well as his experience in starting and developing a ministry called The Intimate Couple, formed a natural basis on which to invite him onto the advisory board. Should I give a single donation or regular monthly donations?
All donations are appreciated and we are grateful for every gift no matter how small or big, frequent or infrequent. However it is helpful for us if you are able to commit to regular monthly support as this allows us to have a steady income that we can rely upon. As with all organizations, Worldview Summit has regular bills to pay and it is very helpful to know that a group of financial partners will provide consistent monthly support. Of course, in the end, the decision is up to you and we appreciate all that you do.
Will The Great Commission Foundation (GCF) send my tax receipt as an email, or will they send me a hard copy in the mail?
If you provide GCF with your email address when you make your donation (i.e. when you fill out the form), they will email you an official tax receipt during tax season. However, if you don't provide them with an email, they will mail you a hard copy. You can also request a hard copy in addition to the e-version.
Will I get a receipt immediately after donating?
You will get an official tax receipt during tax season and you will get an email acknowledging your donation immediately after donating. If you would like a more official (but non-tax) receipt immediately after donating, please contact The Great Commission Foundation for that. (See contact info below.)
