DINNER SCHOOL

What is Dinner School?

Your teen hears all kinds of messages from the world around him/her. These messages often conflict with the faith you are seeking to impart. Dinner School only takes a few minutes a day, and it enables your teen to think through all those messages from a biblical perspective.

How it Works

Dinner School consists of three simple steps.

1. Watch a 1-2 minute video together with your teen(s).
2. Answer a few, quick, comprehension questions.
3. If you have time, use the discussion questions to have a conversation.

It's best to do Dinner School at a regular time of day in which you and your teen(s) can focus, think and talk. This could be during or after dinner, while driving to and from school, on your way to church, or at some other time of day that works for your family.

Why it's Growing

Social media, online entertainment, school curriculums, higher education and more, are all trying to promote their own morality and worldview. Youth keep getting more and more messages that conflict with a biblical faith.

Many parents know this is happening, but they don't know what to do about it.

Dinner School is helping parents push back against the tsunami of messages that are assaulting their kids. It allows their teens to get a steady stream of good reasons to believe in Jesus.

The Impact

All over the world, teens are learning about:

  • how to respond to other religions such as Islam

  • good reasons why God exists

  • how science and faith go hand-in-hand

  • how to think about complex moral issues like abortion and LGBT issues

  • why the Bible is trustworthy and true

  • how to understand key doctrines such as the Trinity
